In October 2008 DISQUERAVIRTUAL.COM is born. From the beginning of the 21st century the music industry has been suffering a dramatic change and transformation. Following the steps of recording music, discographic industry converts from analog to digital distribution involving many myths concerning why people prefer new media like Internet, mp3-format and virtual music stores like I-Tunes. It’s not and it never was piracy like many record companies claim in their frustration. It was a spate of negative factors like the mismanagement of residuals to artists by record labels and a missing basic concept of evolution – for more than two decades “labels”, especially Latin-American ones, dissipated money in their own executives and simply ignored new talent. Bottled in bureaucracy and in their lifestyle label executives sell today records to exorbitant, just no more affordable prices. The time has come for musicians and artists in all levels of reputation to use digital technology as the new tool of promotion to take control over their own career.
