The multi-venue event returns to East London on August 8th.
Visions Festival will return on Saturday, August 8th, taking place across various spaces in East London.
Six venues—Oval Space, St John-at-Hackney, Netil House, The Laundry, London Fields Brewhouse and Space Studios—have signed up for the event's third edition. The music this year spans a range of styles, from the gritty electronica of Andy Stott and Blanck Mass to Luke Abbott's ethereal techno. Canadian four-piece Holy Fuck have also been booked, joining the likes of Torn Hawk, Peaking Lights, Fat White Family, Camera Obscura and Girl Band. In addition to the acts, Visions will host screen printing classes, markets and a craft beer and food festival.
Separate to the main festival, Visions has teamed up with Oval Space to present a performance of Arthur Russell's Instrumentals, directed by New York avant-garde disco favourite Peter Gordon. The show, which features members of Russell's original ensemble, will take place on Monday, August 10th at 7:30 PM.
