The Dublin Electronic Arts Festival have announced Modeselektor and Luke Slater among those appearing at the ten-day event next month.
DEAF have revealed their full program ahead of the ten day festival next month in Dublin.
As the organizers behind this year's Dublin Electronic Arts Festival are laying claim to a program that has, "almost tripled in size since 2008," we'll cut straight to the chase and tell you what to expect. Multiple venues of varying descriptions have been seized for the event's ten-day duration which bases its appeal on a combination of workshops, films, gallery installations, live gigs and club events.
Said club events begin on Thursday 22nd October with an appearance at Kennedy's from Underground Quality's Jus-Ed, week one sees BPitch duo Modeselektor and Warp Records play respective shows at Button Factory, Brummie techno don Surgeon tear into the aforementioned Kennedy's and Luke Slater turn into Planetary Assault System at Andrews Lane Theatre. The following weekend will be the turn of local hero Donnacha Costello who does his live techno thing down at Pod on the Friday, DJ History's Bill Brewster spinning at 4 Dame Lane and the official closing party with Aux 88 and Mark Broom at an as yet unannounced location.
