Playa Divina returns to the beach

- The Greek summer party has three dates lined up at a new beach bar location.
- London promoters Rhythmatic will host Playa Divina's 2010 series of Sunday parties at Illion Beach Bar this summer. Last year, Playa Divina spent the summer at Paralia Beach Bar, a spot in the north-eastern district of Keramoti. DJs like Satoshi Tomiie, Nic Fanciulli, Alex Celler and Terry Francis all guested at the then-free entry afternoon parties. Now supported by Rhythmatic, Playa Divina will set up shop at Illion Beach Bar in the Batis Multiplex, on the outskirts of coastal city Kavala. Ramping up the marquee factor from last year's programming, Playa Divina have booked three dance floor heavyweights for this summer's events. Carl Cox will jet over from Ibiza for the opening party, making his first Greek appearance in four years. The UK techno icon will be followed by jocks of a more progressive persuasion: Nick Warren and Hernan Cattaneo, who will appear on the 1st and 15th of August respectively. To make the most of the beach side location, all three events will run from 3pm until 11pm. Tickets for this summer's Playa Divina events are available now on RA.
