  • 2011's edition of Cologne's c/o pop festival will take place June 22 - 26. The eighth installment of the annual event will be staged in June, shifting from its traditional stint in August. But as with the previous seven editions, the premise will remain very much the same: five consecutive days worth of gigs, club nights, concerts and multimedia events at various locations across the city. First day highlights include a Kompakt-hosted concert featuring performances from WhoMadeWho and Kiss Kiss Kiss; Ghostly hosting Gold Panda and Tobias Thomas; and a Cómeme party with the label's Matias Aguayo and Rebolledo. Paul Kalkbrenner and Matthias Tanzmann will both perform at an open air party at Jugendpark on the Thursday, while a little later on Ostgut's Steffi and Innervisions' Marcus Worgull headline down at Gewölbe. Moving on to Friday and hometown heroes Kompakt will stage a dual a concert/party at Bootshaus. Michael Mayer, Robag Wruhme, Sascha Funke and Jennifer Cardini will get behind the decks, while Gus Gus and Jatoma offer-up live performances. Alternatively for dance fans, Motor City Drum Ensemble and Elektro Guzzi both play at Stadtgarten. And across the weekend, look out for sets from Robert Babicz and Gabriel Ananda, with the whole thing coming to a close on the Sunday night at Gewölbe, as Axel Boman and Superpitcher both perform at a Studio Barnhus label night.
