The Canadian producer's trek starts with his debut in Chicago.
Guillaume & The Coutu Dumonts will take his live set on the road to parties in the US and Canada, starting next weekend.
A native of Montreal but now living in Berlin, Dumont has been producing experimental house and techno for half a decade on labels like Musique Risquée, Oslo and Circus Company. Last year the latter imprint released his second full-length album, Breaking the Fourth Wall, which focused on live instrumentation and moved into jazzier, more eccentric territory.
Dumont will first bring his dynamic live set to Chicago's Smart Bar next Friday for his debut Windy City appearance. The following night he'll go to San Francisco to top the bill for an all-night party celebrating As You Like It's one-year anniversary; he'll be joined by Circus Company label-mate Dave Aju who will DJ. Then next Sunday, Dumont will return to Montreal to play a party with Ovum Recordings boss Josh Wink. He'll share the bill with Deniz Kurtel at a second Montreal event at Stereo on Friday the 27th, before heading to Toronto the next night to play a Platform party with another popular Canadian native, Mathew Jonson.
Tickets for the Love Sundays event in Montreal with Josh Wink are available for purchase here on RA.
