The London venue's rarely used third room will launch as a standalone club on February 4th.
Early next month, Cable will launch a new club adjoined to its current location called Relay.
Relay will be located in Cable's rarely seen third room, a 500-capacity space that's being fully renovated. By the time it opens on January 28th, it will have a Nova soundsystem (the same as Cable's), a low-hanging lighting rig and LED displays complementing the exposed brick of the railway arches. On the occasional big night, Relay will work as a third dance floor for Cable, but by and large it will be run as its own club with a separate entrance and program.
Relay's first party will take place at the end of this month with And.Id and Lucio Aquilina, but the official launch is on February 4th. That night will also be the first edition of [Moh-Teef] Relay's weekly house party. Margaret Dygas and Voigtmann of Toi Toi will play the first one, with Anthony Collins, Kozo and Rome: by Cezar lined up for the rest of the month.
