The Stroboscopic Artefacts duo make their North American debut with Erratic at National Underground.
New York techno promoter Erratic have revealed their event headliners for early 2012, and first up is Dadub on Friday, January 13th.
Dadub is Daniele Antezza and Giovanni Conti, two native Italians with an affinity for dubby, atmospheric techno. Now based in Berlin, they're an integral part of Lucy's Stroboscopic Artefacts imprint, which recently ranked among our staff's favorites of 2011. Beside the tracks and remixes they've made for the label (including a contribution to the experimental Monad series), the two artists might be best known as the minds behind Artefacts Mastering, where they put their mastering techniques to work on every Stroboscopic release.
Later next month Dadub will release a vinyl EP on the label, but before that the duo will head to New York on Friday the 13th to make their first appearance in North America for a four-hour live set. It will be the first Erratic event of the new year, and the first one to take place at National Underground. Looking ahead, the party has confirmed appearances by Inigo Kennedy, Dustin Zahn and DJ Developer over the next few months.
