- The Canadian drone artist's next LP is called Bring Me the Head of Kyle Bobby Dunn.
Canadian artist Kyle Bobby Dunn will release a two-disc album later this month called Bring Me the Head of Kyle Bobby Dunn.
Dunn is an Ontario-based artist with a droning style of ambient music that's rooted in neo-classical. He's been performing and recording since the late '90s, and in the time since then has earned accolades by everyone from Pitchfork to The New York Times. Double-disc albums (with self-referential titles) are nothing new for Dunn: the latest is his second, after 2010's A Young Person's Guide to Kyle Bobby Dunn. Like that release, Head will come out on Low Point, a small avant-garde label based in Canada.
