- The Cocoon Hero delivers a live set for the latest (and last?) entry in the mix series, due out in October.
Paul Ritch is at the helm for Live at Green & Blue's 10th Anniversary, the latest in a series which looks to be drawing to a close, due out in October on Cocoon Recordings.
Ricardo Villalobos, Raresh, Tobi Neumann and a young Loco Dice have all had sets from the open-air party—held yearly at the public pool and then, after its closure, at Langen Lake in Sven Väth's hometown of Obertshausen—released as commercial mixes. Green & Blue celebrated its tenth anniversary this year, but as Cocoon explained on the RA event page, they were having a difficult time staging the event to their standards at Langen Lake and didn't feel they had any better option but make this year their last.
Thus, Parisian techno producer and Cocoon Heroes resident Paul Ritch's entry in the series looks to be its swan song. It marks change of pace from the usual double-disc, double-DJ mix format: Live at Green & Blue's 10th Anniversary comes as a single CD with Ritch playing live. Half of his inclusions are previously unreleased.
