- Blawan and Steffi will guest on the Berlin-based Italian duo's debut album, due out in March.
The Analogue Cops will release their debut album, Heavy Hands, in March.
The Analogue Cops are the duo of Lucretio and Marieu, two Italian DJs and producers currently based in Berlin. The duo will release the LP through their own vinyl-focused Restoration label (a former RA label of the month). It will include three collaborations, with appearances from Steffi and Blawan coming as little surprise: the Cops currently work with both artists as Third Side and Parassela respectively. The album also features a cameo from veteran German producer Stanley Anscrom (AKA Eat), who appears on closing track "Pearls Robbery".
Heavy Hands ostensibly comprises eight tracks, although the end of each side features untitled cuts made of "experimental noise," according to Lucretio. The album will see release on vinyl in mid-March, after which the Cops will embark on a European tour that will take in dates in Berlin, Helsinki, Stockholm, Paris and Munich among others.
