The UK trio have five American dates next month, including an appearance at SXSW.
Dark Sky have announced plans to perform in the US for the first time in March.
The English trio of Carlo Anderson, Matthew Benyayer and Thomas Edwards have slowly made a name for themselves with adventurous takes on bass music and house. Since their 2010 debut on Pictures Music, they've released on labels like the experimentally-inclined Black Acre and Modeselektor's 50 Weapons, and have "sharpened [their sound] like a deadly weapon" in those years, in the words of one review here on RA. Fresh off the release of a new single with Breach, the outfit will make their first journey across the Atlantic.
Their first stop is California, with a Futra show at LA's Los Globos on March 7th followed by a slot at San Francisco's 1015 Folsom on March 8th. The latter event will see them play alongside Machinedrum, French Fries and Uz. On the 12th they'll make an appearance at SXSW, for a showcase that also includes JETS and Kastle.
Chicago's Smart Bar on March 14th marks the penultimate stop, where they'll headline the Thursday night dubstep party Wolfpack. Two days later they will descend on New York City for Mister Saturday Night at the House of Yes, also featuring newcomer Alex Burkat and the Mister Saturday Night residents, Justin Carter and Eamon Harkin.
Tickets for the NYC event are available on RA.
