- The Mathematics chief has pulled together tracks from 1996-2013 for a new compilation, due out in September.
Hieroglyphic Being will release a compilation called A Synthetic Love Life on September 25th.
The double 12-inch release compiles eight tracks produced between 1996 and 2013 (he's already released a compilation of the same name, back in 2009). In an email to RA, Moss said A Synthetic Love Life is made for "home listening, small gatherings, deep thought or for the divergent maniacs of the underground." He added: "This project is not about sound quality but sonic hurt."
The compilation will be released on + + +, a sublabel of Moss's Mathematics Recordings which is reserved for his own material. The vinyl version will be accompanied by a poster designed by Moss under the name IAMTHATIAM. The Chicago producer has already slipped out a few CDr releases on Mathematics this year, as well as a double 12-inch album called Imaginary Soundscapes.
