He'll bring his live performance across the West Coast before heading to NYC.
Tin Man has announced a brief North American tour to coincide with the release of his new LP, Ode, out September 22nd via Acid Test.
The album grapples with the idea of “what a rave sounds like the next day,” he told XLR8R recently. It sees Tin Man returning to LA's Acid Test imprint, the Absurd Recordings sublabel that released his 2012 LP Neo Neo Acid as well as a more recent collaborative twelve-inch with Italian techno producer Donato Dozzy, Acid Test 09.
The American producer will set out on a string of live gigs to hype the forthcoming LP, making three West Coast stops and one more in New York through September and October. It'll kick off at States of Being's Acid Test label night in LA, where he'll play at a secret location alongside Joey Anderson on September 20th. On the 26th he'll head to Monarch in San Francisco, where Basic Soul Unit will also play live, in addition to DJ sets from Jason Kendig of Honey Soundsystem and more. Next up is Seattle's Re-Bar for a High&Tight party that also features Efdemin, Scratcha DVA and Avalon Emerson. Finally, The Bunker will bring him to Brooklyn on October 4th for a stacked lineup that includes live sets from KiNK and Atom TM, plus turns on the decks from Jeffrey Sfire and Bunker residents.
