- Part audio interface, part USB hub, it's been designed to declutter electronic music setups.
Novation has a new device set for release called the Audiohub 2x4.
As the name suggests, it's an audio interface. In that capacity, it offers 96-kHz, 24-bit conversion, with a stereo input and four outputs (RCA all around), plus a headphone output. But with three USB inputs, it's also a USB hub, allowing you to power and connect three other devices with one port on your computer (and one plug on a power strip). Novation says the device is targeting DJs and live performers, for whom connections are at a premium and a clutter of wires is often the norm. You can see how it works into one such setup in the video embedded below.
The Audiohub 2x4 is coming soon from Novation.
