The UK producer's new live show will make the rounds, starting in Budapest in February.
Max Cooper will take his new Emergence show through Europe in the early months of 2015.
The new audiovisual live set was debuted last fall during Decibel Festival in Seattle. Emergence tells the story of how "everything comes from (almost) nothing," according to the press release, focusing on the passage of time from the Big Bang through to modern society. It reportedly traverses his usual blend of techno, ambient and experimental electronics.
"I worked with lots of different video artists and musicians, plus two mathematicians, putting together content to tell the story I wanted, and a performance system that allows me to control both the music and the visuals simultaneously live," Cooper says. "It's been a challenging project, but a lot of fun."
He'll kick off the series on Valentine's Day in Budapest, and from there he'll take it to London's Oval Space before dates in Berlin, Prague, Amsterdam and Liege, wrapping up in Paris on April 24th. You can watch a video of Cooper discussing the new show here, and stream a trailer below.
