Aurora Halal and Ital are billed for the "Valentine's Day deathmatch edition" of Ital's long-running residency, Tunnel Vision.
Brooklyn scene staple Halal returned last week from a six-stop European tour (head over to Sveriges Radio to hear a recording of her set from a January 24th gig in Sweden). Ital, meanwhile, recently appeared on a four-way split EP for his own Lover's Rock label alongside Earthen Sea, DJ Wey and Damon Eliza Palermo.
The two frequent collaborators, who produce and perform together as Ital & Halal, will split the bill on February 14th at Bossa Nova, which recently re-opened after undergoing renovations to expand its legal capacity. Aurora will share the live hardware set that she honed during her recent European tour, followed by DJ sets from both.
