  • The first portion of lineup for this year's Glastonbury has been announced. The festival will take place over the weekend of June 27th in its traditional location, Worthy Farm. Though more underground acts and parties will be announced in the lead-up to the festival, organizers have announced a number of headliners including Deadmau5, big beat giants The Chemical Brothers and Mark E. Smith's irascible post-punk band The Fall. XL Recordings stars Jamie XX and Jungle are on the lineup, as is Jon Hopkins, whose brooding electronica resonates with an increasingly large audience. FKA Twigs will play live as will Dan Snaith's Caribou and Norwegian disco hero Todd Terje. Roy Ayers is also on the bill, along with a George Clinton-led unit combining Parliament, Funkadelic and The Family Stone. Read Carlos Hawthorn's five-star review of Glastonbury 2014 here.
