Two separate parties will collect money for Syrian refugee-supporting charities this month.
Charity events will be held in Melbourne and Sydney this month to raise money for Syrian refugees.
The first will be hosted by recently established Melbourne promotion outfit Lifeworld on the afternoon of October 11th. They'll be taking over Shadow Electric for Freedom Of Movement, a party that's raising funds for the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre which provides aid, legal and health services to those seeking asylum in Australia, including those displaced by the crisis in Syria. Untzz Twelve Inch's Babicka & Mic Mills plus locals Unfettered, Moopie and Mos Howieson will be playing from 4 PM until 11 PM.
A couple of weeks later, on October 23rd, Bloody Good Humans will head to Sydney's Jam Gallery to present DJs For Refugees. Local crews Return To Rio and Rotarydisco will host a room each, with B__A, Matt Trousdale and Monkey Tennis among those playing. All proceeds will go towards to the United Nations High Commission For Refugees, which provides relief to those fleeing Syria in both camps and urban centres.
Tickets to the Sydney event are available here on RA.
