Ryoji Ikeda, Blixa Bargeld, Emptyset hit Tbilisi for SOU Festival 2016

Raster-Noton will also touch down in the Georgian capital next month.
SOU Festival has announced the lineup for its debut edition, running from May 18th through 28th at various venues in Tbilisi, Georgia.
Five locations will be used, including the Archaeological Repository and the Saint Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Raster-Noton will present showcases on the 18th, 19th and 21st, with Alva Noto and Ryoji Ikeda performing live at the first two dates. The third date includes label artists like Emptyset, Frank Bretschneider, Senking, Byetone and Grischa Lichtenberger.
Also on the bill, American composer and Room40 affiliate Rafael Anton Irisarri will perform his 2015 album A Fragile Geography on the 23rd, before Einstürzende Neubauten frontman Blixa Bargeld teams up with Teho Teardo for a show on the 26th. The festival will sign off on the 28th with a showcase of Japanese techno artists, namely Ryo Murakami, Hinori Takahashi and Yuuki Sakai.
