ESP Institute plots out California weekender with Tako, Lovefingers

- ESP Institute has scheduled a weekend of shows in Los Angeles and Palm Springs beginning this Friday. Recent Playing Favourites subject Lovefingers looks after ESP Institute, and the label's had a busy 2016 so far, issuing four EPs just last month. Back in February, ESP Institute took over a room at the web radio station Dublab's Sleepless event—for that one, they brought in longtime label affiliate and Red Light Records head Tako. The man from Amsterdam is back for the July shows, and he's joined by another Dutch-based digger, Izabel, who runs the Lullabies For Insomniacs blog and label. Tako, Lovefingers and LA record head Dirty Dave will spin in a TBA loft on Friday night and the next day, the ESP caravan heads to the Ace Hotel in Palm Springs where Tako, Lovefingers, Izabel and Heidi Lawden will play poolside and in the small club on-site both Saturday and Sunday.
