All proceeds from the #saveourculture events will go towards the club's fight to reopen, with Ricardo Villalobos, Nina Kraviz and Seth Troxler among the DJs involved.
Some of the UK's biggest promoters are working together on a series of three parties that will raise money for fabric's battle to reopen.
The Warehouse Project, Circus, Chibuku, Team Love, Motion, The Blast, Sub Club, Eastern Electrics and Resident Advisor are all involved with the #saveourculture parties, which will take place at East London venue Great Suffolk Street. All profits will go towards fabric's fundraising campaign, which is in place to appeal Islington Council's decision to revoke its license.
The first event is happening on Saturday, October 15th—the same weekend fabric's 17th birthday party would have taken place. The lineup features the DJs who had been booked for that event, with Ricardo Villalobos, Seth Troxler, Ben Klock and Rødhåd all playing. The second event is scheduled for Saturday, December 3rd, with Nina Kraviz, Alan Fitzpatrick and Barker & Baumecker among the confirmed. The final party is locked in for Saturday, December 10th, with Luke Slater, Function, Jamie Jones and KiNK. Club residents Craig Richards and Terry Francis will DJ at all three nights.
Tickets for all three shows will be available here on RA on Friday, September 30th at 9 AM BST. Resident Advisor will be donating all booking fee proceeds from these events to the #saveourculture fund.
