- The 14-track ambient LP will land via the Dutch producer's Nightwind Records at the end of January.
Danny Wolfers, AKA Legowelt, is releasing new material as Smackos for the first time since 2010.
Smackos has been an outlet for Wolfers' ambient productions. At the end of the month, he'll release his sixth Smackos album, A Vampire Goes West, via his own Nightwind Records. The label describes the 14-track, 80-minute LP as "amateur space jazz meets professional ambient," adding that it was put together over the Christmas period at Wolfers' secluded studio on The Netherlands' North Sea coast. It'll be available digitally, on CD and as a handmade cassette from January 24th.
In February 2015, Berceuse Heroique reissued obscure Smackos album The Age Of Candy Candy, giving it its first vinyl release.
