- The Montreal artist's long-awaited LP lands on LuckyMe in March.
Jacques Greene's debut album, Feel Infinite, comes out in March on LuckyMe.
Over the past six years or so, the Montreal producer has been causing a stir with a sound that blends together house, bass, hip-hop and R&B. He's released on Night Slugs, UNO and 3024 (along with his own imprint Vase) but it's the Glasgow-based LuckyMe, our July 2016 label of the month, that's been home to the bulk of his output.
We got a first taste of Feel Infinite with "Afterglow" and "You Can't Deny," which LuckyMe pressed to wax last fall. Both those cuts join nine others on the album, which gets a digital release on March 10th before the vinyl arrives 15 days later. We're told to expect "a record about the utopian idea of club culture," with Greene himself saying it's "more aspirational than escapist." It features a collaboration with How To Dress Well on vocals, while Hassan Rahim, Melissa Matos (of Trusst) and Mathieu Fortin were enlisted for help with visuals.
Listen to LP track "Real Time."
