Takes on classic tracks by Daft Punk, New Order and Justice feature on the 20-track set, due out in November.
Erol Alkan will release a two-disc compilation of his most celebrated remixes and re-edits via Phantasy Sound in November.
Reworks Volume 1 pulls together 20 takes on classic tracks by a mix of dance, rock, pop and indie acts, including Daft Punk, New Order, Hot Chip, Scissor Sisters, Klaxons, Franz Ferdinand and Death From Above 1979. There's also a slot for Alkan's re-edit of Justice's "Waters Of Nazareth," a track that fans will remember hearing at Trash, the London club night that Alkan ran and DJ'ed at for ten years. Reworks Volume 1 will be available as a two-disc CD and a quintuple-pack vinyl from November 3rd.
