- La Maison De La Mort is out next week.
Buttechno is releasing an ambient album under his real name Pavel Milyakov on Berceuse Heroique.
La Maison De La Mort is a double-LP with artwork by Will Bankhead from The Trilogy Tapes. The press release says the album "combines the amorphous electronic soundscapes of an Eduard Artemyev soundtrack, the alienness of the Chiastic Slide era of Autechre and the beautiful expansiveness of Peter Kember's best work." The label say they manufactured only a "small amount" of the record and that it will be out next Monday, January 14th.
Milyakov, who makes techno under the name Buttechno, has used his real name for a handful of ambient, downtempo and experimental-leaning releases over the past few years, including records for Gost Zvuk and his own RASSVET label. This is his first time appearing on Berceuse Heroique. Last year, he released an album on Cititrax, and also appeared on the most recent various artists LP from Nina Kraviz's label Trip.
