- The three EPs will all be available digitally for the first time with new artwork on Courtesy's label.
Courtesy will reissue three legacy releases from the now-defunct Ectotherm imprint on her label, Kulør.
The three EPs—Rune Bagge's Ingen Tak Til Systemet, Ibon's Three Ways and SchackeSchacke's Make Them Remember—are considered the foundation of Copenhagen's fast techno sound. They will all be available digitally for the first time with new artwork on October 4th.
French painter Claire Tabouret has created the cover for Ingen Tak Til Systemet, while rising Copenhagen sculptor Rikard Thambert was commissioned to make a bespoke sculpture for the Three Ways art. Swiss performance collective Young Boy Dancing Group features on the Make Them Remember cover.
"I've been eager to get these EPs out for a long time, but it hasn't been possible before now," says Courtesy. "These records changed my relationship to the techno scene in Denmark and greatly shaped the way I DJ today. It's rewarding to see it finally getting a wider release."
Kulør, which means "colorful" in Danish, launched last year with the debut compilation, Kulør 001. This batch of three EPs also follow Kasper Marott's Forever Mix EP.
Listen to a track from each EP.
