- A new chapter is about to be written in the venue's history with a new club promoter taking control.
Undoubtedly one of Sydney's favourite clubs is Chinese Laundry. Having seen many great nights over the last few years, it is a must see destination for many of the city's avid clubbers. A new chapter is about to be written in the venue's history with Friction's Paul Azzopardi taking over the reigns as the club's new promoter. For those unfamiliar with Friction, the crew herald from Australia's capital city Canberra and are responsible for the best and most talked about events on the Australian clubbing calendar over the last number of years. These include events that have been headlined by Danny Howells, Dave Seaman, Hybrid, Hernan Cattaneo and the ever popular James Zabiela, to name a few.
One of Paul's first tasks will be launching the new look Saturday night “Laundry” which will see an array of DJs featuring at the club across 3 rooms. The launch party is set to take place on 21st May and features the stella line-up of Sneaky Sound System, PoxyMusic (Live), Basskleph, Declan, Ajax, Lippo, Tim McGee and Bob Frisky, Future guests will include the talents of Andy Page (Live), Pnau (live), Dexter, Ben Wijay (Mixmag bedroom DJ winner and Cuban Brothers DJ), PQM and much more! This is definitely a night not to be missed if you're in Sydney!
