- Out April 1st, the collaborative LP explores the future of sex between people and robots.
Soundwalk Collective have collaborated with actor and singer Charlotte Gainsbourg on a new album, LOVOTIC.
Out April 1st via new, Berlin-based label and studio Analogue Foundation, the LP spans 11 tracks and explores the future of sexual relationships between people and robots. Conceived by Stephan Crasneanscki, it combines Soundwalk Collective's futuristic production and ASMR-like textures with Gainsbourg's voice.
There are also vocal contributions from Atom™, Lyra Pramuk, actor Willem Dafoe and writer Paul B. Preciado, who specialises in gender and body politics. LOVOTIC is being presented as an audio installation at FOROF in Rome until July 15th.
Soundwalk Collective first worked with Gainsbourg on the 2020 release, The Time Of Night. It's one of many high-profile collaborations from the group, including Patti Smith, Philip Glass and Mulatu Astatke.
