The outlet will put out music from Filippo Vicario, Peace Division, Dense & Pika, Hypoxia and Gauss Euler in the coming months.
South London club Studio 338 is celebrating ten years by launching a record label.
Named after the club's flagship in-house party brand, Release will launch in early May with an EP from Berlin-based DJ and producer Filippo Vicario (AKA Vika.) Further releases from the likes of Peace Division, Dense & Pika, Ray Okpara, Proudly People and Hypoxia will follow in the coming months.
"Given the depth of talent that orbits the club, a record label has been something which has been on my to-do list for years now," said music and events director Dan Perrin. "I would say that Release is focused on the front left of the main room dance floor and we're all really excited to be able to contribute good music to the scenes we have spent 20-odd years immersed in."
Studio 338 also has a slew of parties planned for the anniversary, collaborating with promoters such as Sankeys, Amnesia, Space and Eastern Electrics. In February, the club will host sets from the likes of Todd Edwards, Heidi, James Zabiela and Amine Edge.
