Madrid is the latest bustling cosmopolitan city to add an electronic music based conference to its cultural roster. Taking place in Summer (July 6th-9th) and a conveniently short flight from Ibiza the Madrid Electronic Conference (MEC) will occur in the heart of Madrid at the Casa De Campo.
Operating along the lines of successful electronic conference formulas the multidisciplinary day programmes will encompass debates, interactive stands, equipment displays, networking lounges, VJ and DJ performances and workshops. José Domingo, Communications Director of Madrid Electronic Conference, is clearly excited as the final touches are put to the MEC schedule:“Spain and Madrid in particular has a huge market within electronic music. However until now we did not have a conference celebrating this. MEC steps in to offer a high quality event filled with comprehensive day and night programmes - Thus creating a platform of opportunity for people from all over the world in a hospitable and exciting city. “
