RA to host live Exchange with Patrick Mason at ADE

- Resident Advisor is hosting a live RA Exchange and a broadcast journalism workshop at Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE). On Thursday, October 17th at 2:15 PM, RA senior producer Chloe Lula will host a 90-minute broadcast journalism workshop in The Studio at De Brakke Grond. Participants will get an overview of audio production and editing, as well an introduction to the art of compelling storytelling and script writing for podcasts. On Friday, October 18th at 5 PM, Lula will host a live RA Exchange with Berlin-based multi-disciplinary artist and DJ Patrick Mason. It will take place at De Brakke Grond in Boom Box, and will see Mason delving into his career so far, his energetic performances and what he thinks lies ahead for the future of club culture. The wider ADE Lab and ADE Pro discourse programmes include conversations about topics such as the influence of J Dilla (October 16th); celebrating 25 years of fabric London (October 17th); the ADE Green itinerary with a focus on sustainability (October 18th), DJ MELL G discussing how to stay grounded while on tour (October 18th) and Dj Babatr telling the story of raptor house (October 19th). ADE takes place in the Dutch capital from Wednesday, October 16th through 20th. As of today, October 2nd, the lineup is complete, featuring more than 1,000 events across more than 200 venues, hosting performances from more than 3,000 artists. Among the final artist additions are Anz, DJ Nobu and Ben Sims. They join previously announced guests like Honey Dijon, Roza Terenzi, Yazzus, Jeff Mills and Major League Djz.
