- Underworld, Snoop Dogg and Asian Dub Foundation are some of the first acts confirmed to play Spain's monster desert rave, the Monegros Festival.
- Underworld, Snoop Dogg and Asian Dub Foundation are confirmed to play Spain's monster desert rave, the Monegros Festival. Forty techno, electro and hip hop artists have been announced including Autechre, Sven Vath, Dave Clarke, DJ Rush, The Orb, Frequency 7: Sims & Surgeon, Oscar Mulero, Ken Ishii, Technasia, Alexander Kowalski, Model 500, Scan 7, Fixmer & McCarthy, Marco Bailey, Slam, Motor, Umek, Michel De Hey, Steve Rachmad, Marco Carola, DK7, The Black Dog, Silicone Soul, Dominik Eulberg, Valentino Kanzyani vs. Nastic and Mala Rodríguez. Confirmed showcases so far include Minus (Richie Hawtin, Gaiser, Troy Pierce), Gigolo (DJ Hell, David Carretta, The Presets) and Hi-Tek Soul (Derrick May, Stacey Pullen, Jim Masters). This year, the festival will also include a hard techno/schranz stage for the first time. Over forty thousand people are expected to make their way to the Fraga desert in central Spain for the Monegros Festival. The Monegros Desert Festival takes place in Fraga near Huesca on Saturday, July 7, 2007
