Two Lone Swordsman Andrew Weatherall comes to Australia this month for his first ever nationwide tour.
In the dance world Weatherall has pretty much done it all: DJ, producer, remixer, label owner, you name it. Hard to believe then that he's never spun in the clubs in Australia. Until now. Patient fans finally get their wishes granted this month when Weatherall plays seven dates across five capital cities including an appearance at the Sydney Festival alongside Warp rockers Battles.
Last year's Sci.Fi.Lo.Fi compilation, which saw Weatherall mixing up rockabilly, glam rock and everything in between, proved again that he's never one to do things by the books so expect plenty of surprises on the turntables. "I've still got that kind of childish glee about seeing the look on people's faces when they hear something for the first time," says Weatherall.
