2007 debutantes Âme, who last year spun alongside a tank full of deep sea fish and man-eating sharks, will be heading outdoors for a daytime BBQ at—we kid you not—an ostrich farm. Âme, Henrik Schwarz and the Snow Patrol DJs are also spinning a tasty sounding sunset to sunrise rave on top of Signal Hill with views over the city and ocean to die for.
Meanwhile, the Cape Town version of a "secret warehouse" party finds Luciano lining up behind the decks inside a helicopter hangar. Like past GBs, there's also a glam element, too. The curtain raiser and official recovery happen in more well-heeled settings at two bars on the swank Camps Bay strip so pack accordingly if you're jetting in.
Global Breakthrough happens February 27 to March 2, 2008 in Cape Town, South Africa. Festival passes are on sale from WebTickets.
