- Acid licks and big basslines to sends clubs into meltdown.
- In the early hours of September 2nd, Chris McCormick, the fast-rising Irish DJ and producer known as Cromby, played the biggest gig of his life. After impressing with a five-hour set at Panorama Bar in April, he was booked for the club's coveted closing slot, starting at 2 AM on Monday and finishing around 1 PM. He played all sorts: disco, AFX, "Everything She Wants" by Wham! Nestled somewhere in among it all were his own "Cruising" and "Gigolo," two fun, functional house slammers with fat basslines, acid licks and epic melodies. The latter is better, built around a trancey synth line that swells towards a crescendo worthy of another stellar Belfast act—Bicep. It must've sent Panorama Bar hysterical.
