- Installment 4 on the ILR roster comes in the form of the Hedfok remixes. The remixes were created from a competition, label boss PJ, ran via his website. The two winners having the honor of having their work released through the label.
The Raygun remix is a nice minimal dubby track. The bass line is deep but not too moody with a wispy vocal stab adding a lighter touch to the track. Nothing jumps out and grabs you in the track it just gently builds layer upon layer keeping things nice and smooth.
The Highkoo remix has a bigger dance floor appeal considering the tracks making waves out on dance floors at the moment. Similar to other ILR releases it has lots of quirky effects but without going too overboard, keeping things deep and bassy. Each phrase of music adding something different from the previous. The beatboxing on this track is used to great effect as well.
