- Two highlights from Afriqua's Corona Cookin' series get a proper release.
- Adam Parker AKA Afriqua has kept busy during the pandemic, self-releasing everything from polyester funk to a take-no-prisoners Azealia Banks edit. Many of these are born from his Corona Cookin' series where the classically trained pianist follows the spliff smoke wherever it takes him. His newest EP is the culmination of this series with Parker mastering and releasing the two tracks that garnered the most enthusiasm. "Margin Of Era" is a bleep-laden house track with dashes of vocal chanting, while "Excess Tea (XST)" is an arpeggio-led techno burner. Both are infectiously groovy and should be getting airtime long after we've hung up our face masks.
