Co-signs from the likes of Novelist, Manga Saint Hilare and Jammz underline the trust the grime scene has placed in young SBK. The prodigious Stevenage MC's EP output has come hot and heavy over the last couple of years, and his new collaboration with Boy Better Know originators JME and Shorty is another promising taste of his upcoming debut album Serenity. Over the chiming synth bells and chunky bass of a classically grimy instrumental, SBK raps, "At the start, be reading to work for free / Then you can do what you love for P." Sage and succinct, this mantra underlines SBK's commitment to the rich scene he's helping keep alive.
