- Glimmering but somber trance techno from Warsaw via Lutsk, Ukraine.
- Shjva's debut EP on Polish label Brutaż features all the trancey, out-there goodness we've come to expect from the imprint, although with a slightly darker tint, especially "Exe," a slow, brooding electro cut that would be the highlight if it weren't for "Mystery Dream." This one is pitched between propulsion and inertia, highlighting the giddy if frightening situation of someone forced to leave their home and take up residence somewhere else. Shjva is from Lutsk in Western Ukraine and has since moved to Poland, where she's already throwing parties, and "Mystery Dream," with its tense, Goa-like tendrils of synth and groaning basslines, reflects an unsettled sort of determination that makes it not only moreish, but quietly powerful.
